J. Ryan Mahoney, D.O. is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Orthopaedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery as well as sports medicine and general orthopaedics. Dr. Mahoney has special interests in shoulder replacement, instability and labral tears, rotator cuff pathology, tendon transfers, and advanced arthroscopic surgical techniques for sports related injuries.
Dr. Mahoney earned his bachelors degree at the University of Delaware, and his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Columbus, Georgia at the Hughston Clinic and completed his fellowship at the Cincinnati Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship where he co-authored multiple textbook chapters on shoulder arthroplasty and has ongoing research.

Andrea Boss McCullough, M.D., is a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist with specialty training in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine. Dr. McCullough treats a wide variety of orthopedic problems including musculoskeletal and spine conditions, as well as sports-related injuries. Dr. McCullough's clinical expertise includes nonsurgical orthopedic care, epidural injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablations, EMG nerve conduction studies, PRP injections, ultrasound-guided, and fluoroscopic-guided injections.   

Dr. McCullough graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. McCullough completed an Internal Medicine Internship and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at Washington University School of Medicine, where she was awarded PM&R Resident of the Year. Dr. McCullough furthered her expertise and completed her NASS-recognized fellowship in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine.

Peter Meehan, M.D. is a board certified, Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon and provides care to patients in our Snellville location.
Dr. Meehan is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He was made a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, an academic honor society. After graduation he completed his internship at Emory University followed by his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the Georgia Baptist Hospital. Upon completion of his Orthopaedic training Dr. Meehan served as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S Navy assigned to the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda. Dr. Wood Lovell invited him to practice at Scottish Rite Hospital. In 1991 he became a member of The Emory Clinic and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery of Emory University. The Emory University Orthopaedic Residents voted him 'Faculty of the Year'in 1992 and 2004. In 1996 Drs. Eldridge, Meehan, and Schmitt founded Pediatric Orthopaedic Associates.
During his career, Dr. Meehan has been a leader in the field of Pediatric Orthopedics. He served as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery for twelve years and continues as a reviewer. Additionally, he is a reviewer for the Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics. He served as the Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board of Children's Medical Services for the State of Georgia. For thirty years he traveled to Cordele Georgia monthly to hold a clinic for residents of the surrounding counties. Governor Perdue appointed him to the Georgia Physicians Partnership, one of ten doctors across the State to advise on various medical matters. In addition, he has been a member of committees for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons including the Committee on Exams and Evaluations that writes exam questions for residents as well as doctors in practice; and the Board of Councilors serving as Chairman of the State Societies Committee.
He was elected the President of the Georgia Orthopaedic Society in 1999. He served as a member of the Board of Councilors of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons being one of two Orthopaedic Surgeons elected to represent Georgia to the national organization for six years. Dr. Meehan has published a number of articles and book chapters on a variety of topics including Legg-Perthes disease, idiopathic scoliosis, and congenital club foot. He has lectured both at the national and the international level.

Dr. J. Scott Holmes, M.D., is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction. He sees patients at our Snellville office in Gwinnett County, where he offers advanced surgical and nonsurgical care for a wide range of joint conditions.

Dr. Holmes treats complex conditions including osteoarthritis, post-traumatic arthritis, avascular necrosis, rheumatoid and inflammatory arthritis, periprosthetic joint infections, periprosthetic fractures, and complications following total joint replacements. His surgical expertise spans total hip and knee replacements, anterior hip replacement, partial knee replacement, revision joint replacement, robotic-assisted procedures, and complex total joint reconstruction.

Certified in MAKO, ROSA, and CORI robotic systems, Dr. Holmes utilizes state-of-the-art technol-ogy to optimize outcomes and recovery for his patients. He also provides general orthopedic care, including fracture management and treatment of degenerative meniscal tears.

Dr. Holmes earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from Clemson University, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the Calhoun Honors College. He received his Doctor of Medicine from West Virginia University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Emory University, serving as Administrative Chief Resident and a member of the Program Evaluation Committee. He then completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at Duke University School of Medicine.
