Heather should be the norm for care, not the exception. Sadly, she is rare. She could put on a master class on how it is done. She listens to understand, and it shows.

Dr. Robinette has been my doctor FOREVER. Our kids were in elementary together. I never see anyone but Dr. Robinette. (Dr. Robinette has literally never failed to diagnose and treat me. I trust her absolutely and refer anyone to her.) Anyway, back to Heather: I had a follow-up problem to something I saw Heather for last month, and I asked for her! She helped me again. She should be nominated for something. Whatever she can be nominated for, I officially nominate her. :-) Please.

She listens, she is able to discuss my medical situation and explain things that I don’t know or understand. She even drew me a picture which helped immensely! Her demeanor is comforting. Aging tends to create fear of the unknown, and she knows how to deal with that. I left there feeling good; and looking forward to seeing her again next year!!

Should have spoken first time I was sent to her. I am 77, and do not like being referred to as Hon, Dear, or Dearie. < am still running all my own errands, paying bills, doing housework. I always think of the person saying it, thinks I am senile.
