Jothiharan Mahenthiran, MD, MBBS

Dr. Jo Mahenthiran is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in non-invasive cardiology and cardiac imaging. Before joining Community Physician Network, he was an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and the director of cardiac imaging at Krannert Institute of Cardiology, Indiana University.



Dr. Mahenthiran serves as the director of advanced cardiac imaging. He specializes in multiple modalities of cardiac imaging including ultrasound, nuclear imaging, cardiac CT and cardiovascular MRI. He is board certified in all modes of imaging techniques.



Dr. Mahenthiran completed his internal medicine residency, chief residency and cardiology fellowship training at Coney Island Hospital, State University of New York and at Cornell Medical Center, New York. He has also completed additional advanced cardiac imaging modalities training at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital, NY, Royal Brompton Hospital, London, UK and at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He obtained his medical degree from Stanley Medical College, University of Madras, India and postgraduate medical certifications from Royal College of physicians, London, UK and from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Ontario, Canada.



He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, comprehensive adult echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and cardiac computer tomography.
