With surgery a year behind me, I've taken up walking our neighborhood for exercise. I thought with a new hip a little jogging mixed in should work. The hip was fine with it but the knee strongly objected about the fourth day. It's been sore and her response, stick to the low impact exercises, high impact jogging can wear out the liner in the socket faster and is better for knees. They don't want me having a knee replacement. I appreciated her concern that even though I wasn't there about the knee, they don't want it becoming an issue.
