Megan Alese Stemple, MD

Megan Stemple, MD, is a native of Indiana who earned her medical degree at West Virginia University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at West Virginia University Medicine. She is also a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.



Dr. Stemple was initially motivated to pursue a career in healthcare by her mother's stories as an ER nurse. Her pursuit of a medical profession was solidified during a summer job as a lifeguard when she performed CPR on a 3-year-old boy, successfully saving his life.



As she progressed through her medical rotations, Dr. Stemple began exploring various specialties. During her obstetrics rotation, she assisted in her first delivery, a moment that filled her with excitement and assured her that she wanted to specialize in OB/GYN. She particularly enjoys caring for women of all ages, from teenagers to those going through menopause.



Dr. Stemple's approach to patient care is highly individualized. She prioritizes getting to know her patients as individuals, which helps her understand their expectations regarding their care. She believes this approach is essential not only for her own practice but also for the entire care team to provide the best possible treatment.



In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, playing euchre and exercising. Her favorite travel destination is anywhere with a beach.
