Andrew Xavier, MD, is an interventional neurologist. He provides interventional and medical management for cerebrovascular conditions (disorders that impair blood flow to the brain), such as stroke, carotid stenosis and brain aneurysms.
Dr. Xavier is a pioneering expert with extensive experience in performing minimally invasive procedures to treat a broad range of cerebrovascular conditions. He's committed to remaining at the forefront of new and innovative treatments that are rapidly revolutionizing the field.
With a strong patient-first philosophy, Dr. Xavier explains, "I strive to always bring the best of my clinical experience, knowledge and judgment to every single patient."

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Xavier performs research regarding the role of minimally invasive procedures in the management of cerebrovascular disease. He was a founding director of the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology and served as an officer for more than 10 years. He also served as the section chief of the Endovascular and Interventional Neurology Section of the American Academy of Neurology.
Dr. Xavier speaks English and Tamil fluently.
