Tran Ho, DO

Tran Ho, DO, FSSO, FACS, is a breast surgical oncologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and benign breast diseases. She completed her breast surgical oncology fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She is a Fellow of the Society of Surgical Oncology and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. She is the Co-Medical Director of the Breast Program at El Camino Health.
Dr. Ho is committed to remaining at the forefront of ever-evolving cancer treatments so she can provide current evidence-based care. She views each patient as an individual with their own unique needs and preferences. Dr. Ho strives to provide high-quality, empathetic care where every patient feels heard, understood and valued.
She explains, "I am passionate about instilling hope in patients on this journey and helping them and their family members navigate through this very challenging time in their lives."
Dr. Ho has served as the principal investigator of a research study to learn how certain medical testing affects treatment decisions in patients with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) after breast conserving therapy. She has also co-authored publications regarding breast cancer testing, including a study about recurrence testing in patients older than 70 published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Dr. Ho is excited about coming home to serve the community where she grew up. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her family.
