Dr. Al-Helou is board-certified in pulmonary, critical care and internal medicine. His professional interests include bronchoscopy, transbronchial biopsy and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS). He is also experienced with navigational bronchoscopy, thoracentesis and bedside percutaneous tracheostomy.
In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, opera and traveling. He is an avid rugby player and coach, and a loving husband and father to a new daughter.

He's always very professional and explains things to you. He's thorough and makes sure you are doing well. If not, he wants you back soon after whatever treatment he starts. He will continue checking on you and gets you to the best baseline you can be at.
