Meridith J. Farrow, MD was born and raised in Covington. After 13 years of practicing medicine in Florida and serving as an Assistant Professor for the University of Florida Shands Jacksonville, she returned to Covington in 2017 to join Covington Women's Health Specialists.
Over the past few years, she has also taken on the role of an OB Hospitalist, whose role helps ensure that each patient is given the attention they need. Dr. Farrow's areas of interest are diagnosing female cancers, treating menopausal patients, and helping our female patients overcome sexual problems and gain sexual awareness.
She is the Chief of Obstetrics at Piedmont Newton Hospital and a member of the Medical Executive Committee. She regularly travels to Haiti to provide medical care. Dr. Farrow is an adjunct Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty member for Augusta University and the University of Georgia Medical Partnership, teaching future physicians.
