Nathaniel Jasper Holmes, MD

Nathaniel Holmes, M.D., is a fellowship-trained, board certified colorectal surgeon who joins Hackensack Meridian Medical Group and will be providing care at Bayshore and Old Bridge Medical Centers. Dr. Holmes has more than 30 years of experience as a colorectal surgeon, and has been robotically trained for 20 years. He provides patients with exceptional expertise in treating the full range of conditions - from inflammatory bowel disease to problems like hemorrhoids or fecal incontinence that patients may be uncomfortable discussing. As a colorectal surgeon, Dr. Holmes works closely with our gastroenterologists to provide the best surgical approach to managing colon and rectal conditions for your patients.

Dr. Holmes has presented more than thirty-five abstracts and presentations and has a number of nationally-recognized publications and research papers. He participates in many professional societies including the American College of Physician Executives, American College of Surgeons, American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons, New Jersey Chapter, American College of Surgeons, The New Jersey Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons and The Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.
