Patrick A Roth, MD

Patrick A. Roth, M.D., is a board-certified neurosurgeon and one of the nation's leading surgeons for the treatment of spinal disorders. He has managed the Neurosurgery Residency Program at HUMC for nearly twenty years, served as a perennial teacher of third year medical students, and regularly mentors high school and college students interested in a career in medicine. Most recently, Dr. Roth has completed an M.S. at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
Dr. Roth is a strong advocate for minimally invasive surgery and the use of nonsurgical methods to treat back, neck, arm and leg pain. His holistic approach to treatment focuses on all elements of the patient's health, designing treatments that are best suited for each patient's individualized needs.
As a respected leader in his field, Dr. Roth is a member of multiple professional organizations. This includes the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, American Medical Association, Bergen County Medical Society, and Congress of Neurosurgery. Additionally, Dr. Roth is an American Board of Spine Surgery Diplomat and American College of Surgeons Fellow.
