Brittany Leigh Smith, PA-C

Brittany Smith is an accomplished Physician Assistant currently serving at MUSC Health Lancaster and Chester Medical Centers. Born and raised in North Myrtle Beach, SC, Brittany's passion for health care and dedication to patient well-being have been evident throughout her career.

With a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of Charleston, Brittany laid a solid foundation for her medical journey. She then pursued a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Charleston Southern University, graduating in 2020.

Before transitioning to clinical practice, Brittany gained valuable research experience at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where she worked as a Lab Technician. Her contributions to cell and molecular pharmacology scientific research, particularly in multiple myeloma and mantle cell lymphoma, have been recognized through publications and presentations.

Brittany is dedicated to practicing evidence-based medicine in a collaborative setting. She is specifically interested in minimally invasive procedures in the Interventional Radiology department in Lancaster and hopes to serve various patients and medical conditions.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Brittany enjoys spending quality time with her dog, Rue.
