Daniel Martin, MD

Dr. Daniel J. Martin, M.D., is an experienced diagnostic radiologist specializing in musculoskeletal imaging. A career as a college athlete culminated in a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from California State University, San Bernardino. Dr. Martin obtained a Doctorate in Medicine from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California on a scholarship from the United States Army. He completed his residency training in diagnostic radiology at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. Following board certification, he was an Assistant Professor for the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine, serving to coordinate medical education in radiology at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC. While there, he participated in research into heat-related injuries sustained by soldiers. Dr. Martin served a total of nine years on active duty in the United States Army, and four years in the Army Reserves. After his commitment to the military was fulfilled, he earned a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging from the University of Arizona. He has practiced medicine in a variety of settings, including rural, urban, and military environments, which helped broaden his skill set. His clinical interests include musculoskeletal imaging, sports medicine, MRI and general diagnostic imaging. He enjoys coaching middle school basketball in his spare time.
