Alyssa Reiffel Golas, MD

Alyssa Golas, M.D., FACS is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the Chief of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at JFK University Medical Center. Dr. Golas performs all types of plastic and reconstructive surgery and has a special interest in breast cancer reconstruction and gender affirming care.

Throughout her career, Dr. Golas has educated medical students and residents, conducted research and contributed numerous peer-reviewed articles to medical literature. 

Prior to joining Hackensack Meridian Health, Dr. Golas served as Section Chief of Plastic Surgery at NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn and participated in the first successful face and bilateral hand transplant. Dr. Golas is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
