Robert D Connors, MD

Dr. Robert Connors is board-certified in neurology, epilepsy, and clinical neurophysiology. He specializes in treating seizures and motor neuron diseases. He is Co-Director of the Division of Epilepsy and Co-Director of the ALS Center at Hackensack University Medical Center, as well as an assistant professor of Neurology at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
Dr. Connors treats adults and children with conditions including epilepsy, ALS, progressive muscular atrophy, spinal muscular atrophy, Kennedy's disease, and primary lateral sclerosis. He performs procedures including electroencephalogram (EEG), video EEG, electromyography (EMG), botulinum toxin therapy and evoked potential tests, and is actively engaged in research, serving as an investigator on clinical trials through the ALS Center.
Dr. Connors earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and his medical degree at Vanderbilt University. He completed his neurology residency training at New York University Medical Center, followed by a two-year fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology & Epilepsy at Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Connors is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Movement Disorders Society, and the American Epilepsy Society.
